Michigan Artisan

 

Michigan is a wonderful place to live, and I am thankful that I can call it home. I'm not saying Michigan is more beautiful than other places in the world — everything has its own beauty — I'm just a sentimental person who has many great memories of growing up in Michigan and I continue to enjoy exploring it's natural places.

 

In my galleries you'll find images from outside of Michigan, but you might sense a special kind of love comes through in my local work. In the summer of 2011, I was selected to be Artist-in-Residence at Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior. It was an incredible opportunity made possible by our national parks and local arts organizations. Please take a look at the gallery of images from Isle Royale.

 

I have a short movie that features Michigan images from recent years. It's a good way to get to know me and my work. I hope you enjoy looking through what I have on my site.
